Things to Do in Alys Beach

A 20-acre nature preserve offers tranquility on the north side of Alys. You can lose yourself along the 1800-foot-long trail as it meanders through the preserve which is predominantly elevated on a wooden boardwalk allowing a perch to view the natural habitats below. Nine town parks are sprinkled throughout the community with the amphitheater being the largest of the nine allowing space for cultural events throughout the year.

Every time we step foot into Caliza pool, we half expect James Bond to come barreling through in pursuit of the bad guy. With stunning design, this is way more than a swimming pool. It’s an experience in aquatic luxury like nonother.

Alys Restaurants and Shopping

Breakfast & Brunch: Charlie’s Donuts - obviously. With its signature food truck, the infamous sour cream donut, it is a must have breakfast stop. For a dare we say a healthier option, check out Raw & Juicy for smoothies, bowls and juices - equally delicious minus the donut.

Lunch: Gotta go George's here for either lunch or dinner. Their coastal-inspired cuisine is a veritable buffet of flavors.

Supper and Snacks: The Citizen is the team’s fav for supper, but you just might find Meg or Michele savoring an artisanal cocktail bellied up to the bar at Neat, the resident bar of choice in Alys, before or after dinner. Or both.
