Things to Do in WaterSound

WaterSound Community Amenities: One of the highlights of WaterSound is unique its access to the turquoise blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A series of paths, boardwalks, and bridges offer direct routes to untouched and uncrowded stretches of white sandy beaches. WaterSound is the only community on 30A with direct golf cart beach access. If you’d rather relax poolside, you can choose from a multitude of pools. Big and little kids can both enjoy an afternoon at Puttering Park, a 12-hole putting range. Residents have access to the state-of-the-art WaterSound Beach fitness center. Camp Creek Lake, one of the area’s rare coastal dune lakes, runs along the eastern border of the WaterSound Beach community. It is perfect for exploring by canoe, paddleboard, or kayak, as well as fishing. Homeowners in the Peninsula have dock access to the lake.

WaterSound Beach Club is an award-winning private club. Luxurious zero-entry pools with complimentary towel service, poolside food and drink service make it an excellent choice for a day at the pool. But why stop at just a pool, the club has a boardwalk to its private beach with access to complimentary beach setups as well as stand up paddleboards and kayaks. If you need a break from the sun, there is a kids’ arcade, and you can always grab a table at the restaurant for a salad or grouper tacos. If you are so inclined, schedule a beach bonfire and enjoy the evening at the beach, where, of course, there will be s’mores.

WaterSound Restaurants & Shopping

If you want to stay close by, WaterSound’s neighboring communities, Prominence and Seagrove Beach, offer an array of local dining and shopping options all within a short golf cart ride.

Breakfast & Brunch: Praise the Lard, Perfect Pig is right down the street. The quiche is divine, but the Parmesan Crusted Breakfast Sandwich is the ultimate morning indulgence. If you are in a hurry, stop by Kahve & Cream for an iced coffee and one of Charlie’s donuts.

Lunch: Feeding a crowd? Bruno’s Pizza offers an all you can eat pizza bar from 11-2 every day. Or if everyone is craving something different, The HUB has a variety of options. The Tostada Salad from Macho Taco is a team favorite.

Supper & Snacks: Watching the sunset with a glass of Rose’ on the balcony of the Beach Club is nothing short of memorable. If you are looking for a place to kick up your flip flops with a little dancing after dinner, check out Old Florida Fish House on Saturday nights.
