Here are 10 helpful suggestions to help you prepare for peak rental season on 30A.

PRESSURE WASH

Pressure wash the entire exterior of your home. This ensures that dirt, grime, salt, and other substances that collect on the exterior won’t cause corrosion. It also boosts your curb appeal and generally maintains the integrity of your home.

DEEP CLEAN

Deep clean the interior, including garages and closets, appliances, and windows. This rids your nooks and crannies of built-up dirt, creates cleaner air quality, and pays attention to areas that often get overlooked during regular cleaning.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS

Ongoing projects should be tackled at this time. Also, change all the smoke detector batteries and light bulbs, and get an annual tune-up on your air conditioning sys

FRESHEN UP

Join all the Facebook groups for local vacation rental owners. These are great places to get ideas, find resources, and speak with other owners who can share their experiences and solutions.
