Food For Thought is a local charity that is near and dear to my heart. Did you know that the average food-insecure child will miss 10 meals over the Thanksgiving Break and 20 meals over the Christmas Break while removed from the Free/Reduced Meal Plan they depend upon at school?

Food for Thought’s holiday services bridges the meal gap in the lives of the children they serve while also providing families food for holiday meals. This holiday season, sponsor a family (or a few) to fight childhood hunger in Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Food For Thought expects to serve at least 700 families across Walton and Okaloosa Counties this holiday season. The average family in their program has 4-6 children in their household. 

Your support helps ensure these are indeed Happy Holidays for the children and their families. When you sponsor a family, you provide the funds needed to provide the food for their services.
