Things to do in Rosemary Beach

There are so many things to do in Rosemary Beach you may never go anywhere else. In addition to the shops and restaurants dotted along the town center, Rosemary Beach is an amenity-rich community.

Cool down in style at one of the four pools located throughout the neighborhood. Coquina Pool, located beachside is a negative edge pool meant for lounging and relaxing. Sky Pool, located park side, serves as a year-round pool with motorized panels that can be closed for cooler weather. In addition to heated water, the pool decking features radiant heating so your feet aren’t cold in the winter months. Cabana Pool, located park side, is a family-friendly area with a Mediterranean design. Barbados Pool is located west of the Town Center at the terminus of Town Hall Road.

Racquet Club is a tennis lover’s paradise. You can set up a match on one of the eight green clay courts (Har Tru) and enjoy shopping at the fully stocked ProShop.

The Rosemary Beach Fitness Center is fully equipped with Bodymasters and Freemotion Strength Training equipment, a full suite of cardio equipment, free weights, and TRX. There is a private studio to accommodate yoga classes and massage. The courtyard is set up daily (depending on weather) for those who prefer to workout outdoors.

Woven throughout Rosemary Beach, the Fitness Trail & Walking Tour is a 2.3-mile trail of both sand paths and boardwalks that wind through the community’s native landscape, parks, and public spaces. It includes four fitness stations with exercise apparatuses for stretching and strength training.

Common green spaces are located throughout Rosemary Beach providing space for reading, picnics, barefoot walks, playtime with the kiddos, and other outdoor events.

Rosemary Restaurants and Shopping

Breakfast & Brunch: Big Bad Breakfast is right around the corner, but worth the short walk or bike ride. The avocado toast and bruleed grapefruit are my favorite. The Cathead chicken biscuit is worth every calorie. If you are in a hurry, pop into Amavida for a latte and scratch-made scone.

Lunch: Who doesn't love a good chicken salad sandwich? Stop into Cowgirl Kitchen and grab one of Meghan’s favorites on the way to the beach. Another Meg fav is the black bean burger at Summer Kitchen. Gallions has a delicious beet salad but the carrot cake is legendary.

Supper: Watching the sunset with a craft cocktail on the balcony at Pescado is nothing short of delightful. If you are looking for a place to trade in your flip flops for heels, Restaurant Paradis is a great place for a date night. Grab your friends and enjoy an endless selection of tapas and tasty treats at La Crema. For an after-dinner cocktail, stop by Cabana at The Pearl. Sarah likes to ask for a table in the cozy and inviting back lounge.
